Resilience in the food sector – environmental, social and economic perspectives in crisis situations

Environmental, social and economic perspectives, derived from the sustainability approach present within by resilience concept, are integral parts of food systems. At same time they clearly articulated EU farm-to-fork (F2F) strategy referring to building up possible future crises as diseases pandemics. The aim this paper is investigate in sector its selected environmental, dimensions, which fact rely on each other cannot be separated, simply because character system itself (work with living organisms, soil, natural environment, etc. done people for business purposes). issue must considered multidimensionally. In approach, basic direction activities should one focused both environmental protection society. For a harmonious combination these activities, it also necessary look at perspective entire rural livelihoods (e.g. income employment diversification). Considering last shocks discussed (COVID-19, war Ukraine, drought, embargo grain exports Russia, rising inflation), difficult situation market can expected nearest future, makes concept even more relevant than has been so far.
